Planet Green Operations’ ALTA® Wireless Ultrasonic Ranging Sensors can be deployed in as little as 15 minutes and are used to detect traffic, track inventory status (based on distance), and evaluate liquid and other asset levels. If the status of any of these variables deviates from user-specified bounds, a sensor alert is generated via text message, email, or phone call.

Our ultrasonic sensors use the speed of sound to determine how far away they are from objects. It sends out a high-frequency pulse and records the time it takes to receive an echo. The time difference determines whether an object exists or how far a tank level is. The sensors are insensitive to the target surface and colour and compensate for temperature and humidity.
